Adolescence (Teen) is a transitional stage of physical and psychological development that occurs between childhood and adulthood.

Adolescents (or teens as we cal them) includes children aged 10 years to 19 years. They undergo many physical, mental, behavioural, and emotional changes. They are often confused and lack proper guidance from adults. They are very curious about themselves and things around them, and usually rely on peers and internet for all sorts of information. It is a stage of learning through experimentation and exploration but require unconditional love from parents and some guidance from right sources.
The mental health of teens is often neglected due to emotional distance between them and parents, and also because they are good at hiding their stress and emotional turmoil. Many teens have mental health issues like anxiety, depression, insomnia and internet addictions. If they are not identified and treated, the teens may land in serious consequences like severe depression, drug addiction and self harm. Neurodevelopmentally teens are prone to impulsive behaviour like drug usage, breaking traffic rules, exploring sexual fantasies, etc, especially in stressful conditions. The teens chit chat sessions focus on life skills, healthy media usage, assessing mental health issues, guidance on drugs and sexual behaviour, importance of rules and discipline in life.
