The COVID pandemic has taught us many important uses of internet – Online Consultations being one of them. The online consultation has been approved by the Supreme Court of India. But still, Online consultation should usually be avoided especially in case of infants and young children as it is difficult to asses the sickness of young children. Sometime though, it is practically not possible to meet the doctor in person, so then an online consult can be taken till you are able to visit a paediatrician.
